And while you are encrypting your SEO, this is where your organic view begins to take shape. The more views, the more potential customers, the more conversions, the more revenue. Keywords are search terms that a website owner or SEO professional uses to optimize a website for ranking it the top of Google’s results for specific keywords.

The thing is, there are so many expressions about keywords. But how can we know what kind of keywords will be chosen when doing keyword research?

Short Tail Keywords

As the name suggests, the keywords for the short tail keywords are short (surprise!) Made up of three words or less. Sometimes called a subtitle.

Short tail keywords have a high volume of search volume but are also very competitive.

For viewers, they use short keywords when they are in the first phase of research.

That is why it is very difficult to identify the precise search intent for short keywords. They tend to be everywhere.

Let’s look at an example where someone searches for “lemons”. They may search for what vitamins the lemon provides, or how much lemon.

Short keywords do not change well because of the difficulty of comparing the searcher’s intent.

Long-Tail Keywords

Long keywords contain more than 3 words. They are usually much clearer than short keywords.

They have a very low search volume compared to the short tail name. But they do it by being very competitive.

The most important thing you should know about a long keyword is that you can easily identify the search intent.

Let’s look at an example, “4 x 12 fl oz S.Pellegrino mineral water”.

This definitely means that the searcher is looking for websites that sell this mineral water. So if you want to target them, you know you will need to have a price, shipping fee, and storage space on the website.

Better yet, when users do a search for these long, and detailed keywords, they are usually ready to buy!

Product Defining Keywords

These are bold words that describe and describe your brand.

Researchers looking for a product that defines a keyword are looking for something specific. And you can be exactly what they want or not.

When researchers go to find a product that defines a keyword they are already in the early stages of their purchase.

So when you target a product that defines a keyword, remember that it is as detailed as possible. A great way to get your product-specific keywords simple, just look at your product list and create a detailed description of each of them.

Now look at those definitions and select the two keywords. Add them to your brand name, and when you get it.

Mid-Tail Keywords

Medium keywords are basic and try to balance between short tail keywords and the number of traffic keywords. For example, if the keyword for the short tail is “bread” and the keyword is “buy bread in Connecticut”, the middle keyword would simply be “buy bread”. Usually, these keywords are intended for those who are looking for information but are not ready to follow up with search results.

Customer Defining Keywords

Every business has a target audience, and good business is always aware of its customer types. Customer Definition is the type of keywords that define your customers or at least identify how your customers define themselves. For example, an art gallery uses words such as “artist” or “communication art” as a keyword as it best describes the people who will be interested in their business.

SEO is not just appearing in search. It also involves the definition of your customers and thus targeting the right people. It is only through this understanding that one can build a business that responds to customer needs rather than trying to find a customer who may or may not need your services.

Competitors Keywords

As the name implies, competitors’ names are the keywords your competitors use to accomplish the search list. This type of keyword skips the words and phrases that drive traffic to your competitor’s website. This helps you understand your real audience’s interests and generates content accordingly.

There are a few tools one can use to find those keywords. Some of these are Buzsumo, SEM Rush, SpyFu, Ahref’s keyword expert, AdWords insight, etc. Whatever the tool, it is wise to remember that even your h4est competitor can be a valuable teacher, and it is best to try and learn as much as you can from them.

LSI Keyword

LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) The thematic keywords are closely related to your keyword.

Let’s look at it this way, your keyword is lemon, its keywords LSI can be lemon tea, organic lemons, lemon juice, etc.

To get the LSI keyword, you need to decide first with the keyword.

LSI keywords are useful in the sense where you can create topics to fit a broad theme and refer to all sub-branches all based on a single keyword.

In other words, your content will appear with different keywords that users search for. This keyword will work wonderfully with content or blog posts.

The keyword for LSI is a small trick to soften your hands.

You can refer to the suggested search section on the search results page to get an idea of what the keyword search engine is related to the search query that was created.

LSIGraph (full permission, this is a sister product) is another great tool that will automatically give you a list of LSI keywords in accordance with their search volume and competition. Just type your keyword and voila editing content.

Now after knowing the different types of keywords, you can create a more informed and strategic marketing plan. When you know all of your options, you can find the best keywords to help you connect with your target audience, drive search traffic, and boost conversions.

Keywords are the first step to a successful SEO.
